What we value:

Jesus
We believe that Jesus is the most important person for children to know and learn about. We love teaching our kids directly from the Bible and connecting them to a relationship with the most important person ever, Jesus! Every Sunday our children will receive an age appropriate Bible Story that will lead them to know God more and discover His purposes and truths for their lives!

Safe
Safety is a priority at HC Kids. Providing a safe environment for our children is of utmost importance. One way we do this is through a secure check-in and check-out system. Secondly, all those who are a part of our Kids Team go through an application process including a background check. Our Safety Team also provides additional supervision of Kid's areas.

Fun
All Kids Services and classrooms are designed to be engaging, life giving, and full of energy. We create space for kids to interact with the lessons, participate in worship, and have fun with their friends. Kids will learn that not only is church fun, but living for God is an exciting adventure when we grow together. We believe kids learn their best when joy and laughter abound.

Clean
Our Hope City Team strives to maintain a clean, organized and well-structured environment for our families. Classrooms are thoroughly cleaned on a weekly basis and sanitized in between services. We give special care and attention to do our part in keeping our Kids and Team healthy.

Sunday Morning Kids Environments

Early Childhood

Nursery - 0 to 18 Months

The nursery is staffed with loving and caring volunteers whose passion is to give lots of love and attention to every precious baby.

Toddlers - 18 months through 3 years
The toddler room is a very active room where they enjoy playtime, learning a Bible story, and songs. Along with snack, craft time and often going outside, there is always something fun going on!

Preschool - 3 years to 5 years
Every week, preschoolers hear a Bible story and lesson. They have snack and craft time and enjoy interactive play, often going outside. We ask that transition from toddlers to preschool happens after your 3 year old is potty-trained.

HC Kids Church

5 years through 5th Grade
Elementary age children experience a high-energy service packed with games, story telling, small groups, a Bible message, worship and prayer time. Everything we do is focused on Jesus and having fun!

Special Environments

Wiggle Giggle Room
We provide a Wiggle Giggle Room in the back of the Worship Center with a one way glass so that families with restless little ones can still partake in the service.

Nursing Mother's Room
There is a nursing mother’s room adjacent to the women's bathroom. We provide this as a "moms only" space to change diapers or have privacy for nursing.

Check-In Process.

If you are new to HC Kids, first of all, welcome! We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early to check your child in. Your first stop will be our check-in station. At check-in, we provide a secure system to ensure your child is safe while at Hope City. We make sure to enforce our check-in policy so you can view the service with confidence that your child is well taken care of. Upon arrival, you will find our welcome team members ready to greet you, direct you to our check-in location, and show you to our classrooms! We can’t wait to see you!

Check-in

Q: Do I need to hold onto my parent tag after dropping off my child?
A: Yes! Your parent tag is used during pick up and ensures the safety of each child, only allowing them to leave with a permissible adult.

Q: Will I be contacted during service if there is an incident with my child that needs my attention?
A: A text message will be sent to the primary phone number provided during check in. Please insure that your phone is set to vibrate in case we need to reach you.

Baby Dedications

Here at Hope City we carve out special moments during the year to dedicate babies and small children. This is a time when parents pledge their commitment to raise their child according to God's Word. While a very meaningful event, this is a separate event from Water Baptism when an individual makes a personal faith commitment.
